There are days that it seems like the bigger the bag, the better the look. Some of the hottest brands have designed some of the biggest bags, and women seem to love them just as much now as they did when they started their rise toward popularity.
The problem?
Their tiny rivals are starting to take their spotlight as some women are looking for something just a bit smaller in size but as cool or even cooler than the big bag. Sometimes we just don’t feel like wearing the biggest bag we find, but just the opposite. In fact, some women are headed for something a lot smaller, and many fashion forward celebs are leading the charge.
The small size, though, doesn’t mean lower price. They can be as pricey as the bigger ones, but they sure are worth it. Tiny bags are everywhere, and the biggest names in design are creating bags that hold only the essentials.
Keep an eye out for the ones you love! Check out a few of the tiny bags that will definitely make you increase your imaginary handbags wish list for this year. Finally here is my selection.
- Gucci Padlock Studded bag – If you want to think about words to describe this treasure, it would be sexy, studded and small. And those pearls, with the GG logo in the centre? You got to love this one.
- Louis Vuitton Petite Malle bag –With this bag, you even don’t need to look for a treasure, as it is a treasure trunk itself. Basically smaller version of the traditional Louis Vuitton trunk. While it may not be the complete newbie in the world of small handbags, it’s still making the headlines. There are plenty different colours and materials from canvas to crocodile skin and here is the selection of my favourites.
- Louis Vuitton Nano Malle bag – smaller version of the Petite Malle bag. It also has a removable shoulder strap, so you can wear it as a clutch or as cross body bag. Don’t you love the round corners? How original is that. Here are the pieces from the S/S16 collection
- Prada Cahier bag – It just debuted on the runway this year, and it’s already available. What more do you want? This bag was presented during the Prada Womenswear Fall/Winter 2016 runway show and it is inspired by ancient books. I particularly love the wide strap as it adds a bit more edge.
So are you ready for the treasure hunt? Let me know what is in your wish list for this year.
