3 rules on how to wear green

New season, new colours. There are some colours that I personally prefer to wear more in spring and some more in winter, like pink and black. Green, however I like to wear anytime.  Some colours can be tricky to wear or combine and that is why I want to share with you how to wear green. In spring you will see all range of green from vivid poisonous and rich to light pastels. Normally I would be in the camp of pastels, however when I saw this green angora cardigan, I was in love. It is from Pinko, one of my favourite Italian brands. Italian fashion always was and is amazing and Pinko is definitely one to go to for trendy chic looks. They also had this in azure blue colour, but even though it was beautiful, the green was to a winner.

3 rules of how to wear green

  1. First of all choose the shade that complements your skin tone. not everyone looks great in pastels or khaki and especially vivid green.
  2. Buy a small piece first, to get comfortable with the colour. Maybe a scarf, belt or bag, if you are nervous.
  3. Be careful how you combine it. Not every shade of green fits with the same colours. Generally, green looks best with black, beige or white, Especially this vivid green I am wearing on the pictures. I also like to combine it with contrasting colours to make it more fun and different green, like these LK Bennett boots.

I was in a hunt for a cardigan that I can wear every day with jeans or trousers. There ae so many option right now but everything kind of look the same. This colour was for my the selling point. Then it was the cut and last the material. I must admit, angora is not my favourite material. It looks beautiful, but I am a practical girl and all the little green hair left on my clothes are a bit of a nuisance. BUT in this case it is all compensated by this amazingly vivid colour and very beautiful and ornamental buttons. Also I was in a hunt for a good cardigan and this one is perfect. I can wear it from winter through the spring. I got this Pinko one in sales but there are plenty more similar one to choose from, like the ones here or here or here.
