Hello autumn. This year you have been kind to us and arrived very slowly and subtly. Thank you very much.
We had such an amazing Indian summer. Mornings are chilly, in fact so chilly I need to get my winter clothes on alert. But afternoons are still very beautiful and sunny (most of the days). Anyway, the summer is over and that is official. At least in my part of the world. So it is time to do the wardrobe check. What I need to get rid off, what do I have and what I need to buy. And believe me, the list is long in all three columns. It is also a time I am taking out again my winter handbags. I don’t know about you, but I do have handbags I love to wear only during the winter time. There is no particular reason for that, it is just a habit probably (and the colour as well).
Well so the other day I was really happy to take out my Tod’s handbag out of her dust bag. I this one as it is so classic and understated. I love the petroleum colour. It is so rich and interesting and surprisingly combined really well. You can combine it with black, white (how surprising), beige, camel, grey, brown and who knows what more. What is also great is that you can carry this Tod’s handbag as a top handle or with a long strap over the shoulder or as a cross body.
I have chosen the simple white silk shirt with very thin black stripes from Pure Collection and black cigarette Guess jeans. I paired it with Salvatore Ferragamo belt and very similar colour heels from Tamara Mellon. Fortunately we had quite a warm day so no jacket was needed.
Have a colourful autumn and let me know which is you favourite bag to wear right now
