Fringe? Yes. Jeans? Well yes of course, duh! Fringe jeans? Well that is a whole new story. Fringes have been in the fashion for long time and jeans even longer. Then someone had the brilliant idea to put these two together. And what happened? A trend that took Instagram by storm and fashionistas all over the world wanted them. In any colour, shape and length. The more the merrier. At first I was thinking that it is fashion only for 20 something year old girls. It was not until l I tried them on that I realised how great they look. They are fun and transform a regular pair of jeans into something more interesting. However the question is how would you wear something like that? You don’t want to look like a tramp, do you? Well, so for this reason I prepared for you few rules on how to wear fringe jeans.

How to wear fringe jeans

Fit. Make sure you choose a pair of jeans that fits like a glove. when you are trying them on, make sure they look great on you from all sides. If you are deciding to buy fringe jeans you better make sure you will look good in the particular colour, style and shape.
Length. It is really up to you, however, make sure that the length of the trousers and the length of the fringes complement your height.
Shoes. For the best look, pair them with sexy high heels for a more polished look or trendy sneakers for a more sporty look. With other types of shoes you should be a bit careful. Fringe jeans have a rather big impact, so if you pair it with equally striking shoes, you create nice balance.
Styling. I personally prefer to team the fringe jeans with smarter looking tops. Great white shirt, sexy top, blazer, anything goes. I like the way the smart top make the whole look more elegant.

I got these jeans from Zara and I think they were sold out really soon. Apparently everyone wanted them, including me. I wore them with white shirt with ruffles. The bag of the day was from Tod’s and shoes from the amazing designer Alexander White. I bought these during London Fashion Week Festival. I saw them and they were mine within 5 minutes. That is how quickly I fell in love with them. And as a bonus they are uber comfortable. Definitely not my last pair from this brand.
